Ruoyao Li

PhD Candidate, Research Assistant

ruoyao.li@ubc.ca

Ruoyao Li obtained her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Xi’an University of Science and Technology in China. During her master study in China, she focused on earth-air heat exchanger system (EAHE). She has developed the thermal management for baseboard electrical heaters. She is currently studying the transport phenomena of textile related to thermal comfort.

Jianxun Huang

PhD student, Research Assistant

jianxun@mail.ubc.ca

Jianxun obtained his B.Eng. from the Memorial University of Newfoundland (Canada). During his bachelor’s study, he actively participated in several research, including passive anti-icing techniques with different surface wettability, decarbonization technologies for marine transportation, and thermal management of EVs battery modules. His research at UBC focuses on investigating bubble formation and departure induce velocity change using particle image velocimetry (PIV) and the effect of surface wettability on flow boiling heat transfer.
